New Bedroom Reveal - We Finally Have Room for a King Size Bed!
You know how absolutely thrilled we are to have finally moved to a seriously *upgraded* space! Finding a beautiful and affordable place to live in Los Angeles is like finding a needle in a haystack - it’s a challenge to say the least. And to find one that checked all of our boxes AND had an outdoor space 🤯🌱 We are just beyond grateful and consider ourselves so lucky and we are just counting our blessings every single day!
With the new space came the opportunity for us to start from scratch with our design and decor. Obviously we wanted to work with what we already had where we could, but there were a few places where it was totally necessary for us to invest in some new pieces - for instance, the couch - we needed a smaller one to fit the layout of our new living room, and of course patio furniture was a purchase we had to budget for… And one of those other places where we knew we wanted to prioritize getting something new was the bedroom. I was SOLD on a new bed! 🛏 After all those years in the tiny studio - having the space for a king size was SUPER exciting for me!
So, we decided to parter with Nectar on our bedroom upgrade. Our mattress also came with a Serenity Sleep Bundle (2 pillows, sheet set, and mattress protector), and a new Google Nest Hub with Sleep Sensing. It’s seriously the coolest gadget! I was one of those people that was never too interested in having a ‘techie’ home, but this thing is awesome! It uses motion and sound to track your sleep, and then gives you insights on how you slept and can provide feedback on how to achieve a better night’s sleep. It also has a Sunrise Alarm feature which brightens the room before your alarm is set to go off (to give you a more ‘natural’ wake-up), and it’s got a library of relaxing sounds to help you fall asleep. And if you’re worried about privacy - it doesn’t have a camera, you can turn off sleep sensing and the microphone at any time, and it doesn’t store your sound data beyond the device and your sleep data isn’t used for ad personalization. 👏🏼👏🏽👏🏾
