Dave loves headphones, and so Iโve become a bit of a headphone expert. For a splurge for a professional or audiophile, Iโd recommend these:
I bought these for Dave for Christmas last year - and they were a huge hit! They are the Sony Dynamic Stereo Headphones, and we use these โprofessional gradeโ ones on our podcast. They are plug-in only and have extra long cords. If you want to buy a pro headphone set, this is the standard. They come with 1/8โ and 1/4โ jacks, and they are available for $97.99.
For inexpensive but high quality sound, we rave about TaoTronics brand! They are comparable to the more expensive brands, like Beats, but are a fraction of the price. They also have stellar customer service. We contacted them after a pair broke, and they sent us a new pair no questions asked!
For working out, or having a hands free headset on the go, we recommend the TaoTronics Bluetooth Headphones, and at $35.99 they are way cheaper than the $200 Beats By Dre headphones of similar quality.
I personally love the TaoTronics earbuds, comparable to Appleโs Airpods but a fraction of the price. They come with a build in magnetic charging case and are good for listening to music and making phone calls. These are available for $32.99.
For in-house lounging (and great for flying) we recommend the TaoTronic Bluetooth Noise Cancelling DJ style headphones. Dave wears these while doing chores so he can keep entertained with a podcast or spotify. They are available for $59.99, and along with being noise cancelling and having bluetooth capabilities, they also come with a cord to plug into a normal headphone jack which is super convenient for using them on flights!
โจ For working out at home:
For Christmas this year Dave asked for TRX Cords. Because of the pandemic (and our gym being closed for the foreseeable future), the TRX system is great for a lightweight and portable workout you can do at home or in the park! There are other brands of suspension training but TRX is one of the most trusted and widely used, and if youโre doing some hardcore inverted shoulder workouts, you may want to spring for this more expensive brand. This runs for $130 on Amazon.
